The construction and commissioning of the Sydney Light Rail will be reaching two milestones in the coming week. From Monday 24 June, day time testing of trams will commence in Surry Hills and Moore Park. Testing will commence in Moore Park, along Devonshire Street and Chalmers Streets. Also on Monday 24 June, night time tram testing will begin in CBD South. Trams will run from Chalmers Street to Eddy Avenue, Rawson Place and into George Street as far as Town Hall.
